Also-volunteering is a great way to build a network. The trust you gain by working with others is one of the best networking methods for your business. What better way to meet people, connect with them and develop a relationship, than by volunteering for a non-profit or working together for a cause.
The trust you gain by volunteering with others is invaluable to developing the kind of connections that will help your business grow.

Networking Goals
Well my main place of networking is my job at the college. I need to educate, build captial, and create effective strategies for my clients. The college provides the information and tools I need.

Networking plan
-Young people between 18-25

-I want to formulate a relationship with my clients which goes beyond just educating them. I want to mentor them and provide an environment to foster excellent life skills.

-My educational background and experience. As well as, my personal experiences I learned and those which were shared with me by my mentors.

-Right now the main networking source has been at the college. Here i have at my disposal educational opportunities, client background information, and the freedom/flexibility to be creative.

-I have not explore these avenues completely. For right now e-mail correspondence has been the only on-line way that I have dealt with a client. I am more face to face or telephone conferencing. I am going to have to work on this one.

Networking mediums
This is my next project. Like i aforementioned, face to face and telephone conferencing are the mediums I have worked with. These have worked very well for me. However, I do realize that I would reach a larger and more diverse audience if I expand to an on-line medium.

Participate
I am very involved with the networking avenue at work and I provide feedback for the clients that we both serve.
