21 Characteristics of the Successful Entrepreneur
What characteristics make top entrepreneurs successful? There are many but here are 21 that I think really make a difference.

Top Entrepreneurs:

- Have a bent towards action
- Think Strategically
- Feel the fear and do it anyway
- Work from a written mission and vision
- Are opportunity focused
- Are problem solvers
- Think long term
- Have a sense of urgency
- Think win-win
- Know how to manage risk
- Believe in themselves
- Have boundless optimism
- Surround themselves with smart people
- Have a deep understanding of human nature
- Have a tolerance for uncertainty
- Create opportunities
- Recovery quickly from disappointments
- Are results-oriented
- Are genuinely concerned about others
- Believe that they will win
Please keep in mind that entrepreneurs possess these qualities in varying degrees. Don’t be discouraged if you don’t possess all of these qualities in abundance. Begin working on developing some of these and improve your success as an entrepreneur.

Thank you for your comment. To answer your question, a win/win thought pattern would be to always think of how your actions will benefit your client and benefit your business. Win/lose never works.
Managing risk means identifying what risks are involved in a venture and then limiting your exposure to the risk.
Seeing the glass half-full is good. That means you are an optimist.
Being able to live with uncertainty for a period of time is important. As an entrepreneur, you have to be able to act even when you don’t have all the information. I hope this helps.
Okay I now have a new assignment.
What i want to ask is for an example of a win/win thought pattern.
Here is the list of the ones i feel i need to work on
that i really make a difference. i often question my ability about the very thing that i am doing. However i don’t give up i try to improve.
i do not manage risk if it means not calculating the cost. some people can just jump out there. i will jump but with the parachute.
i am usually described as seeing the glass have full. this is the casuality of thinking ahead to the possible outcomes.
I don’t like uncertainity, i need to relax and live in the moment when it is called for.
